Seaway Surfside

The Seaside Residential

Located in Surfside, Miami, the Seaway residential project is fully clad in Marble Sachanas’ Perla Marble across interior and exterior surfaces. The architects incorporated over 25,000 square meters of marble flooring and 1,060 linear meters of solid marble elements into the design.

A key feature of the project is its exterior cladding system, which uses honeycomb panel technology. This technique bonds thin marble slabs to an aluminum honeycomb core, significantly reducing the weight of the stone while maintaining its structural integrity and visual character. The system meets the building envelope’s performance demands in a coastal environment, ensuring long-term durability and aesthetic continuity.

Marble Sachanas was responsible for the exclusive supply and fabrication of the marble, selecting high-quality Perla blocks and managing their transformation into a variety of architectural components. These include solid columns, staircases, wall cladding, and custom-fabricated elements with varied surface textures.

The project reflects a comprehensive material strategy, using marble as both a structural and expressive element. The consistent application of Perla marble throughout the building reinforces a unified architectural language, while the natural tonal variations in the stone introduce visual depth.
